In Ensemble
After earning my master’s degree in physically devised theater and performance, I began my professional career as a full-time company member of Transatlantic Love Affair, a Minneapolis-based physical theater ensemble. Over the course of more than a decade, I collaborated on devising and performing in nine full-length productions. Learn more about the company here.
In Community
I then had the privilege of working as a full-time theater arts instructor, performer, and director at Interact Center, a Minneapolis-based theater company of artists with and without disabilities. Our ensemble-devised work, created in collaboration with guest artists, sought to challenge societal perceptions of disability through bold, original performance. Learn more about Interact’s mission and history here.
In Education
In Montana, my work centers on arts integration. After earning certification from the Kennedy Center’s Focus Five Group, through SPARK! Arts, I began using theater to teach ELA and SEL to K–8 students in Missoula County Public Schools. My residencies emphasize collaborative performance inspired by books, fairy tales, and school-based social and emotional themes. More information on SPARK! Arts can be found here.
